Since the beginning, the Foundation wanted to create a space for study and dissemination of the great variety of trees and plants that make up the private collection that we can find in our gardens. There are more than 2,000 specimens with 123 different species and / or subspecies, alongside two garden patches, one with seasonal vegetables and the other with aromatic and culinary plants. In these orchards, our users can perform care and maintenance tasks, reinforcing and complementing their leisure time.
In line with the informative nature of the Botanical Garden, we want to reinforce the importance of these types of gardens as instruments for Environmental Education in the current day society.
